Happy August!
August is one of my favourite months! The weather is wonderful and there are so many opportunities to get outside and enjoy everything our province has to offer!
It is also the month where fall starts to creep into my thoughts, and with that can come a bit of nervous tension as the seasons change and everything falls back into the familiar school, work, early evenings routines. One thing I can’t live without during these times of changes is Rosemary! That is why I have chosen it as August’s Essential Oil of the Month!
Derived from the evergreen shrub, rosemary’s aromatic flavour is often used to enhance recipes such as stuffings, roasts and other savory delicacies.

However, what most people don’t realize about Rosemary, is its variety of other uses, including digestion support, relaxation and calming properties, internal organ functionality and ability to reduce nervous tension and fatigue.
How to Use:
- Diffuse 3-4 drops for added focus and concentration.
- Take internally (dilute 1 drop in 4fl. oz of liquid) to help reduce anxiety and fatigue
- Add 1–2 drops of Rosemary essential oil to meats and favorite entrées for flavoring and to support healthy digestion.
